5 Gemstones and their Plant Allies

As we welcome the Spring equinox, it's time to start planting seeds and tending to our gardens. For the boho woman with a green thumb, there are several gemstones that pair with plant allies. Let's explore a few gemstones and their plant partners!

Did you know that plants have spirits and carry different frequencies of energy? Just like gemstones? That's right, plants and gems share spiritual meanings that can create positive impact in your day to day life. At Boho-Magic, we often deep dive into the meaning of gemstones and how they can tell your personal story. Now, with this Spring equinox, lets dig a little deeper and take a peak at plants that can work with your gems. 

When considering how we are pairing our gems with plants, we want to analyze their characteristics, their healing energy and their colors. If you love wearing any of the following stones, considering planting their cooresponding plant allies or adorning your home with them. 1. Black Tourmaline and Rosemary

Black tourmaline is a gemstone that can cleanse energy and ward of psychic attack. Rosemary has similar meaning as it is a strong purifier. Surround yourself with both black tourmaline and rosemary during times of transition or during an experience where you need a little support!

2. Amethyst and Lavender 

Amethyst and lavender are two of the most calming pairings out there! Both amethyst and lavender invoke feelings of peace and tranquility. Wear amethyst and bring lavender into your life if you need to create moments of serenity and rest.

3. Rose Quartz and Rose

Rose quartz gets its beautiful name from its pink color that mimics that light blush of roses. So it only makes sense that it's plant ally is a rose! This is the gemstone and plant pairing of divine love. Plant roses and wear rose quartz to inspire self-love and the romantic love of your dreams. 

Rose quartz is a water safe stone, so try placing it at the root of your rose bush to encourage it's growth and well-being.

4. Turquoise and Jade Plant

Turquoise is a stone of abundance, good luck and fortune. And, so is the jade plant! if you're looking to increase gratitude, bring in financial wealth or abundance of any kind we recommend pairing your green turquoise with the energy of a jade plant. 

Try wearing turquoise and sitting by your jade plant as you journal about all that you are grateful for to become an abundance magnet.

Citrine is another stone of abundance, but it's power lies in its ability to amplify energy just like the sun. The sunflower is a great pairing with citrine because of their connected to the power of the sun's illuminating energy and also their shades of yellow colors. 

Citrine is a form of quartz, so similar to rose quartz, it is water safe. You can place citrine at the roots of your sunflower to amplify it's growth; watch citrine help your sunflowers grow tall!
